The management of the meter reading group represents over thirty years of experience in the electric and gas utility industry. The meter reading group shares the company resources that support our construction service groups. With maintenance facilities in Maryville and Eldorado, a group of ten mechanics fulfill the service and maintenance needs of our vehicle fleet. Our Information Systems team supports the data processing and telecommunication needs of our meter readers and our clients. From pagers to PC's and hand-held docking stations, our group can assemble the hardware and software required to meet the needs of our customers. Add the support and direction of our experienced field supervisors and you have a team you can depend on, day in, day out.

In 1997, J. F. Electric, Inc. began providing meter reading services to customers in the electric and gas utility industry. From a small beginning, the meter reading group has grown to an operation that encompasses three-quarters of the state of Illinois. J. F. Electric is noted for exceptional accuracy and productivity: accounts estimated on routes maintained by J. F. Electric average well below one percent! In 1999, the meter reading group expanded its client base utilizing the resources of Donco Electrical Construction LLC.
